Default Starts fine but when shut off for a small period it struggles to start.

I have a 2005 express van 205,000 miles . A check engine light came on. It said bank 2 sensor 2. So I replaced the sensor. Light still comes on. I noticed also It would start easy when using it for the first time of the day. If I shut if off to get gas or for a little while it sometimes struggles to start?. What is the problem.

As geo1 already asked, what was the actual code number? And could you go into a bit more detail with the hard starting? When it does eventually start, does it run rough for a little bit, or is it pretty smooth?

hard start after a hot soak could be fuel pressure leakdown...injectors into the cylinder or fpr into the manifold….put a pressure gauge on the fuel system and watch for a pressure drop

does it start normally if you wait to crank the van after the security light goes off?
