Tire pressure
So...this is my first heavy duty vehicle (2500) and I see the tires say "Max pressure of 80 PSI". Might have been 88...can't remember now but in any case...I have never had a vehicle that wants more air than 44 PSI.
From the dealership they were 57 in the front and 65 in the rears. What is a happy number to put them at?
I will only have a max cargo load of about 400 pounds in the back at the heaviest. I am thinking 65 sounds fair.
thoughts?

I would run what ever the placard (inside drivers/left side door) tells you to run. That is set up for optimal mileage and wear. In my fleet we up the psi in the rear a little to compensate for the heavy loads we carry.
