My 2016 Chevy express 2500 with a 4.8 with 6 speed transmission has a problem with torque converter shudder Which has me pissed). Only 105,000 miles on it. Was told by a good transmission shop that to repair the torque converter will cost pretty much the same as replacing with a new transmission. I know I always bring up my old 2000 Express but it had no transmission problems with 220,000 miles on it. I just want to see what Transmission I have so I can do a little research but don't seem to find this information anywhere.

 

What are the numbers on the door post sticker that tells what you have ?

I would like to look and see what I have ,

if no codes..does the dealer have a tcm flash update to address a tcc shudder?
