Really sorry about your Dad. Those old trucks are great. Listen to what these folks tell you and you can't go wrong. Also welcome to the forum.

On behalf of all of us here at Chevy Forums, our condolences on your father's passing.

Welcome to the forums, it sounds like a cool truck!

When you get around to changing your points, be sure to replace your condenser also.This will give you better mileage and help keep it in tune longer. Best of luck, can't wait to see pics.
