Default 1957 Chevy Two Ten

I'm having trouble removing the steering column from my 57. I raised the body, removed the steering box and pitman arm, they both raise with the chassis. Sandblasting and total restoration being done. If I can get some feedback It would be greatly appreciated thx.

P.S. 1st year aprentice autobody tech.
