Default 1966 BBC 396 Engine Help

My father and I are building a 396 engine that originally came out of a 1966 Chevy Impala we were told. The numbers on the engine are 3855961. I have read mixed reviews about this engine but this is the one my father bought to build to go in the 1968 Camaro that I am restoring.

He has asked me to identify all of the threaded holes on the block and what they are used for. This came after trying to locate where the oil pressure sensor goes in the block as it doesn't go in the same place that he was used to up on top by the manifold. In searching Google, I think I found that the oil pressure sensor does not screw directly into the block but instead there is a fitting that goes in between the block and the sensor (anyone know the part number for that? Is it the same for all BBC engines? FOund this one but it says its for a Chevelle: 1964-1977 Chevrolet Big Block Oil Pressure Fitting)

I put together a couple pictures outlining the holes we are trying to identify and would appreciate any help from the forum.

Please see attached images:
