Default 1972 positraction rear axle feels like it's tugging sometimes at low speed

I've put about 300 miles on a 1972 4wd Blazer (original turbo 350 with 350 cid motor) that I rescued after the original owner sat it in a barnyard for the past 8 years. Replaced everything to make it roadworthy but sometimes at low speed (mostly in parking lots) I feel the rear positraction axle tugging and I get the feeling it's not supposed to do that. It kind of feels like when you have your 4wd engaged on a dry surface. Any thoughts, ideas or similar experiences out there?

I replaced both axle bearings just to be sure and changed fluid in differential, drove about 150 miles at time of this post and everything is perfect now. Thanks for your help.
