Default 1994 Chevy Suburban

I'm sure this is a common issue with the older Chevy Suburban but I am at a loss.

My speedometer is jumping from 0-80 and I am sitting in the driveway at idle. So far I have replaced the VSS and the VSSB module, checked all the fuses. Could it be ground fault somewhere or the cluster? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

since those stepper motors are electronically controlled then a poor ground might cause the speedo to act all up

It is possible issue with alternator. Take a look at this and replace it if necessary.
