1999 Cadillac Escalade steering problem
Hi,
I've tried everything and I'm stumped. 99 Escalade. 125,000 miles.
I put new tires on the truck - Cooper Discoverer AT3
Idler arm and Pitman are were wore. Decided to change the gearbox and intermediate shaft while doing the job.
After completion, the truck is pulling right and hard to steer left. I changed the steering wheel position sensor with zero help.
I then disconnected the plug under the power steering pump and the truck drives 100% better, but of course is harder to steer at low speeds being that the sensor is disconnected.
Ideas? Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Mike
