hey guys, i have always been a huge chevy fan, but my project car i have now is a 2000 jeep xj, with a 4.5in long arm lift, and 33's, everything else stock. i picked up a 2001 lm7 engine for a steal. this is going to be a project build for fun, with a pretty strict budget. the engine has around 120k on it. the plans for the jeep will be just a regular driver with some mudding/off roading. nothing super serious. my question is, if you had a lets say 1500 - 2000 dollar budget, what would you upgrade in the motor? what would you leave stock? what brands would you pick for the parts? i have all the tools to do everything myself except machining the block. so were talking 1500-2000 in upgraded parts. looking forward to seeing everyones feedback, please try and be specific! also, if the budget needs tobe stretched, i can most likely work it, just nothing too crazy like 5k, lol.
