2001 silverado misfire #6
Hello,
My name is Scott I'm having an issue with a misfire on cylinder 6. I have replaced the plugs and wires and still having the issue. However it's not all the time. I've reset the CEL and it's stays off for a little while but comes back on in usually under 100 miles traveled. Any help will be appreciated. 24X,XXX miles.

How does the plug on #6 look? you could move #6 coil to another cylinder and vice versa, if the misfire moves to that cylinder you know you have a coil problem. seafoam treatment would also be a good idea, a miss can be caused buy bad plug, coil, wire, injector, carbon buildup in cylinder or mechanical like lifter, valve etc. you can also move the injector to a different cylinder, But i would start with the coil first.

I will have to try that out. Thank you so much.
