Hello this is my first post. My fiancee has a 2002 Cavalier that is stalling on her. It only does it when the car warms up and doesn't happen all the time. Took it to my mechanic can't seem to find the problem.People I have talked to say it is the fuel pump, don't want to put 500 dollars into it if that is not the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Checkfora faulty crank sensor.

 

You might try testing the injectors resistance too.
Where does it cost 500 bucks to replace a 2002 Cavalier?
