I have a 2002 Tahoe. Recently the air bag warning light came on for about 1 minute and then went away. After that, I have noticed that the radio and odometer displays are flickering. None of the other lights(cabin or dash) are acting this way. Anybody have any ideas? The vehicle is out of warranty, so I'm trying to go to the boards to do it myself before breaking down and taking it to the dealer.

its probably the airbag sensor, the newer vehicles have 2 sensors for airbags, a main sensor and a back-up sensor. the back-up sensor also controls other systems, such as headlights,dashlights, etc. They do this to make it harder for people to disconnect their airbag systems.
