I didn't see a forum specific to the Epica which is why I am posting here. I am considering buying a 2004 Epica 4dr with a 2.5L. I am not sure after reading reviews whether it is worth the risk. The car looks like new inside and out and it has 93000km on it. No engine lights, no codes. The car idles rough and stalls. Over 2000rpms it smooths out. The owner has had it in the shop but his mechanic is unable to solve the problem. Has anyone else had this issue and managed to solve it? I have read posts about a stuck EGR, blocked exhaust and read a recall requiring a software update for the PCM. I look forward to your comments.
