Default 2006 chevy uplander, purge valve

I've been though many posts trying to find info on how to change the purge valve on this model that's on top of the fuel tank. You cam see it from the passenger side under the vehicle. There are 2 heat sheilds with a split in between. To remove the valve you need to push it towards the door of the drivers side of the van. There's a small metal tab in the middle of the hold down you need to push in to disengage. Pull it back out to the passenger side, disconnect the electrical clip an the hose clamp. Space is limited so take your time. A pick with a 90 bend and a pair of needle nose plairs work the best. Hope this helps.
This is how you see the valve.
Small metal tab in middle need to be pushed in. Then push valve towards drivers side of van.
