Default 2006 Silverado 217,000 miles

Driving down freeway truck started sputtering on and off, seemed to bog down, filled up on gas and still continued to sputter on and off.. Started for a parts store to see if there was a code but died on way.. Had to get towed back to house.. Where do I start?

Welcome from Florida. Get the codes read. Try spraying some gas or starter fluid into the throttle body to see if it runs for a few seconds. If it does you have a fuel problem. You can also do a fuel pressure test.

Correct, but reading the codes if there are any would answer that question.
