Default 2010 Suburban low DVD IR audio

Hello all,

I have a 2010 Chevy suburban, with a factory Bose entertainment system, that has an audio problem. When playing a DVD, my DVD audio is just fine on all speakers, but my DVD IR headphones have low audio.

At the recommendation of the dealer, I purchased a new factory set of IR headphones from them and the DVD IR audio is still low.

Here’s the kicker, the audio on my original factory headphones and the new factory headphones is good and loud on AM/FMXM.

I took the vehicle to the dealer and after troubleshooting for three hours, they told me that they have no idea where the problem is and that they can’t fix it and they’ve never seen this problem before.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Again, speakers sound great on AM/FM/XM/DVD, but the IR headphones have low audio only on DVD.

Thanks?
John
