Default 4X4 lift on a 2WD System

I own a 2001 2wd blazer. Im not one for lowering anything except cars. I want to lift my blazer at least three or 4 inches. Will a 4x4 lift work on a 2wd system?

I don't believe so. I'm not positive but I believe you have a coil over front suspension. And the 4wd has a Torsion bar setup.
