Alright this is my first project car to redo and I have no clue what I'm doing lol. So here's what I got and what I want to do. Body; 62 step-side pickup, 79 3/4 ton 350 engine, 74 4-speed tranny out of a 1-ton. I have had a mechanic put the engine and tranny in the truck and match the drive line up.
What I want to do.
Take out and fully rebuild the engine (myself so that I learn it), have the transmission redone, fill the rust spots in the floor, sand, repaint and have a nice little hot-rod/fun truck.
Any pointers and how-to's on the engine and body work would be awesome.
