The problem is... It wont turn over. Key in and clutch down I can hear a click and I try to start her and occasionally she tries just a bit to turn over. Any advice on what may be the issue?

Also the battery is brand new as the folks I bought her from had a small car battery in instead of a larger truck battery.

Posted this in the other vehicles forum before I realized that may have been the incorrect area.

 

Check battery cables first. Nothing, I'd strongly suspect the starter solenoid.
