Have 94 stepside chevy Silverado
Son was driving and pull out and when truck shifted from first to second it made loud clanging noise now it will not take off in od or drive .it will take affect in 2 or 1 and will go into 3 and od if shifted manually. Clutch pads or shift solenoids ?Not real experienced in auto transmission rebuilding only done a few . If just solenoids don't have to pull tranny hoping that's it .
Any thought or suggestions on what to check ?
