96 c1500 random 1/4 second hesitation @ 70mph

Question 96 c1500 random 1/4 second hesitation @ 70mph

Im driving for 30 miles: no issue. The rest of my trip, there is like a total shutdown...like I took the key out. Its not long enough tp need to restart it or anything....@ 1/4 second, then its fine again. I have a 96 Silverado c1500 5.0 vortec. Sidestep..
It has p0103, p0102, p0113, p0121, p0123, p0300, p1111, p1380, p0719..i have a few codes for mass air flow, but I'm in denial because they are expensive. So far, i changed spark plugs, wires, coil, rotor cap and button, checked 15 or so grounds, changed tps, fuel filter,Please...no maf.
Is it because my husband keeps putting on little nothing *** lights and a cb and a fan...oh and electric seats. He's also plugged in one of those chips under the dash that's supposed to in crease performance. oh, and he has put on one of those cold air intake thingies
I put a single din pop-up stereo with amp and 12" woofer, Do I need a bigger alternator? The gouge jumps around a bit, especially when I give it gas, but the hesitation has no pattern...totally random

Nah, with the p0300 code, you have a bad coil or plug and/or intermittent power. You MIGHT be able to clean the MAF with soaking it in rubbing alcohol for hours. If you put an oiled K&N air filter it could cause the MAF to malfunction, as the oil gets on the MAF elements. Allow it to dry completely before you use try to use it.
