Excuse my skepticism.......but, why doesn't GM know of a permanent fix?

 

they came out with a revised intermediate steering shaft and i haven't had ne of those come back yet but idk.

 

I had a revised one installed. 10,000 miles later, it came back. My mechanic lubes it every other oil change- no charge. Seems to work for now.

 

hmm.. they should just drill, tap, and insert a grease fitting.

 

Ok Tech, I'll bite. What is this great fix and are you planning on charging for this info or just keeping us on the edge of our seat for excitement?
