99 Vortec to 98 blazer engine swap?

99 Vortec to 98 blazer engine swap?
I have vortec from a full size 99 pickup I want to put in my 98 s10 blazer. The blazer originally had a 4.3 but I'm not sure if those years are interchangeable. What if anything do I have to do to make this engine work? I was told that I have to change the intake. Do I? Is there anything else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
