Another Brake Light Post
My brake lights don't come on, 3rd brake light does though. Checked fuses and they're ok and so is the bulb, I even changed them to make sure. Parking lights work but of course when I apply the brake, the brake lights don't get brighter. Suggestions? Thanks for your time.

k first step is check the amps with a mutlimeter and becarful with fuse they are tricky sometimes they dont look blown but are the amp on tails light i believe is a 15 amp fuse so u should be running about 10-11 thro it if its lower u have an electrical problem if not its ur bulb or fuse

What kind of Vehicle is it? If it's a '95 - '99 Chevy truck chassis, look at the turn signal / Cruise Control switch. That's what it was on My '96 Tahoe with the same problem.

RE: Another Brake Light Post
So I finally gave in and went to the stealership. What I was told, blown fuse due to installation of trailer harness no short to ground found. Four hours later my brake lights don't work again. I had the trailer harness installed more then three years ago and hasn't been used since the day it was installed. Can someone tell me which fuse and the location for these descriptions? I've been bambooozuld!
