Apps that simulate the GM Tech2?
Are there any OBD scanner apps (iOS preferably) that can access the computer like the GM Tech2 can?
I have the Bluetooth scanner hookup and have the apps that can read the codes and reset fault codes, but I want to program some remote entry fobs for a 2007 Chevy Uplander. I have tried the various DiY methods without success and it seems I either have to go to a dealer or get a GM Tech2 scanner which would cost more than going to the dealer.
Here is what the scanner needs to access: Use the scan tool in order to access programming: Vehicle Control System/Computer Integrating System/Module Setup/BCM/Program Key Fobs.
I am sure an app that can simulate the GM Tech2 would work.
Just making a last attempt before I go to the dealer thanks.
