I have a 1979 C-10 Big 10 Chevy truck I'm building for a shop truck mixed with some drag racing. My plan is to build a 350 engine with a 350 transmission. I had a 327 in the truck before my 350 build and I always felt it lacked a good take off. Hopefully the 350 will get the truck out of the hole quicker. I added a locked differential with a 5.13 gear. The transmission was built to be efficient. Any pointers or advice would be appreciated.
