Thanks for any help up front ! I own a 1990 silverado short bed truck and the rear end is starting to wine. I got hold of a 1998 suburban rear end with the sway bar attached was wanting to know how hard and what parts would i need to hook up the sway bar to my truck. I know the rear end has the big brakes on it and have already bought new wheel cyclinders and shoes and drums for the swap. anyone done this swap before? thanks for any imformation!

I can see that being a fairly easy change.
You may have to stage the Pivot Bushings out away from the Frame (maybe). I've used/made brackets like Body Mounts from Angle Iron, which I welded to the Frame, and then bolted the Pivots onto them. You don't want to directly weld the Pivots to anything, use bolts.![Wink](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
PS:
What difference are the Ratios (if any) ?
Also, you don't want to get the rear Brake Cylinder (diameter)
much bigger than the originals or you'll start getting lockups on them.
That may occur anyway, given the increase in size.
