Default Engine just shuts off

1994 Chevy Silverado w/ 5.7 ltr engine w/ 186K miles. Truck starts a little slow, but runs great. Suddenly dies while driving with no warning. No check engine lights. Wait a couple minutes, starts right back up.

How long does it take from cold start to die? Ignition control module in distributor will give intermittent failure when hot

Distributor was just replaced, but did not resolve the problem. Interval between occurrences is unpredictable. Can drive for 10 miles and may or may not happen.
