Hi all,
Need help am tearing my hair out.
Cavalier 1987 2.0l stalls after starting runs about 10 secs.
Done so far:
replaced fuel pump
replaced Injector
replaced fuel regulator

On start up engine runs for 10 secs, can see fuel being injected to top of carb but then dies. If I then remove electrical plug from injector car will start and run for a few seconds.

Seems to be flooding but can't see why?

Any ideas or help much appreciated.

I had the same problem with my 86 s10 blazer and it ended up being the temp sensor was faulty. try unplugging the temp sensor and see if that make a difference. I think it was less than 10 bucks to replace the sensor
