Default Flow Rate

Can someone please explain flow rate to me? Im looking to buy a new fuel pump but not sure which to go with due to different flow rates, some low others high. Thanks in advance

I would check out Deatsch werks .com. they have a calculator for fuel pump flow rate. you have to know other info to fill in the blanks, but once you have that info they can match you up. also, you didn't give make model and year of the vehicle. That should get you the correct pump, unless you are building something high performance from scratch. good luck!
