Fuel pump mix up

On my 1998 2500 I purchased a new fuel pump online. Within minutes I realized that I bought one with a fuel pressure sensor, my one doesn't have that. I wrote them immediately and they didn't get back to me until it had already shipped. My options now are return it in a couple of days when it returns, wait for it to be returned, then wait for 1-3 business days for the store credit to come through, and then order the on without the sensor.
Thats definitely a pain so my question is will it work if I just install this one? It looks like the connectors are the same, and the fuel pressure sensor is sealed, so I think I can just install it and leave the sensor alone. Can anyone confirm that>
