GM Nickel Plated Slip Yoke Problem
Gentlemen. I have a 2000 Suburban K1500 with 4L60E transfer Case. I ordered a APDTY 708613 yoke which is nickel plated to fix my leak and the dreaded clunk on Amazon and thought it would fit. I'm trying to verify this. Some forums say it fits, others say it don't. Some descriptions say the GM #12477702 is the factory number. I can't seem to find the factory number to see if it interchanges. I was under the impression that all of the K1500 trucks and SUV's for this year were the same so this would fit numerous applications. Can anyone help me verify if this will fit. Some websites have the fitment page and others don't. Amazon for this part # says it doesn't fit my Suburban. Why? I don't trust the fitment pages all the time. I'm about to snap! Thanks!
PS. I did find a APDTY # that says it fits my application but it shows the splines are on the outside (MALE) of the yolk but the splines on my yoke are on the inside of the yoke (FEMALE) if you know what I mean.
