A mechanic jumped my battery and now I am having problems starting the vehicle,sometimes it want do anything at all-like battery dead,then it sounds like its not firing -guages going crazy-after several attempts it starts- do you think it fried something when it was jumped

 

sounds like a body control module to me, could cause som interesting electrical problems, have a dealer scan it...and jumped you mean just boosted with booster cables, should not cause anything weird, but ya never now.

 

Check the ground wire connection at the battery. Most likely loose is all. Or maybe the positive. Try both of those before condeming the BCM but like he said never know. JHH
