hard start

99 fuel injected hard to start.<O

Crank and crank after three to four (two to three seconds each) cranks it starts and runs fine?? why??

Check valve bad in fuel pump assembly. Just had that in my 99. Added an inline check valve just behind the fuel filter and before the tank. Starts first time every time now.
