having trouble with my truck please help
i have a 2000 1500 4x4 5.3liter vortec . every once in awhile once im in 5th gear and cruising and i try to accelerate to pass a car (not going into passing gear
) the truck will start jerking until i give is alot of gas. anyone ever come across this before ?

OK THIS IS WHAT IVE DONE SO FAR . replaced spark plugs with ac delco's , fuel pump replacement , r&r engine and rebuilt it new cam lifters push rods ect ect , and now since i did all this work she still runs like crap at idle in drive you feel it stumble if you power brake it you can feel it back fire through the exhaust and sometimes through the intake , no codes are popping up except for p0420 cat code im at my wits end on this one , anyone got a idea what i should do ?
