Default hei dist

i dont know a whole lot about the chevy stuff so here i am please help. i switched my jeep cj over to a hei ignition which i must say i loved unitl this moment. anyway i got water in under the coil cover and burned a hole through the cap and roter. i replaced both and also the coil do to severe burning. problem is still wont start i guess my next step is replace the module but shat could i be missing. im getting no spark but have power in and power on both leads under the coil cover ( red and yellow). i just hate throwing parts at it ya know. next question has anyone here ever waterproofed any of these units? thanks need help fast need it running by friday

take the parts you bought back and use that money to get a new one.. or go to a junk yard and pull a used one. those chevy hei's come dime a dozen.

well i put on a new module and it still doesnt spark a friend told me to get a new wire harness that plugs into the module and the coil any ideas? also i probably will keep my eye out for a cheap spare its agood idea.
