my name is Chris from Germany and I'm looking for some help to identify a chevy engine.
I know that it was removed from an 63 or 64 corvette several years ago, but not sure if it was the factory engine.
Wikipedia says that the 283 engine was used in the first corvette generation until 62.
Surfed many sites and used google, but nothing to find

Would be nice to know what type of engine it is (HP) or in which car it was originally used.
Maybe its the correct engine for my Impala.
