My friends and I having a bit of an argument.

I say that a 383 chevy is a bored out 350 (.30) with a 400 crank

They say that a 383 chevy is a 350 with a 400 crank and 400 heads.

Who is right here?

 

You're right----350 with 400 crank. The 383 likes larger heads and pistons, but you don't need to run them.
