Default Helper spring or add a leaf

My pickup squat because the flatbed I put on it is heavy.
I want to try to make it set right.
So between add a leaf or helper spring which would you choose?

well at least you have full floating axles.
here is the problem, if your overweight; nothing you can add can legally change the weight ratings of the vehicle. the legal fix is to put the bed on a truck meant to handle the weight. With that said i would prefer an extra leaf vs a helper leaf. Air bags are another option that is great for maint'aining ride height so you don't wreck the front tires....ride height changes change the toe setting on the front tires....which causes irregular tire wear.

Thanks for the info.
I do not believe I am over weight at all.
I just think the spring give a lot for a nicer ride.
Back in the day pickup had overloads on them.
I probably should have bought the 2500HD. I could not find any in my price range.
I do not haul much. The bed is pretty hand for loading lots of stuff.
I read somewhere the 1500HD was equal to the 2500. I though well that should be enough.
My 97 F250 did not squat near this bad. I did put over loads on it. LOL
I know people talk about the legal part but around here I see guys with cake boxes and 1 to 2 bales some time. Plus whatever they are carrying for tools.
Anyway thinks for the help.
