Default Information on using fuel modification oil

I own 2004 Silverado 2500 Heavy duty diesel. It has run over 160,000 miles. After 12 years, the car is still in good condition. Then, I came to know about fuel modification oil by Archoil in my truck service's site. (https://www.bcdiesel.ca/en/archoil-f...cation-complex) I was thinking about getting it to dissolve all the sludge that may have formed in the engine over the years, though I service the truck regularly. I need opinion.

I use another additive, at about 8 oz per tankfull.

The product you're looking at is $70 PER 8 oz bottle ! ! !

I do believe in using additives to keep thing cleaned up, BUT, not at that price.

never heard of archoil. oem manufacturers promote stanadyne.

stay clear of biodiesel imo. shorter oil life intervals must be used.

Okay, thanks for the info. So, I'm hoping that Stanadyne fuel oil will be better option, considering, it's cheaper and delivers the same result.
