I am working on a 1990 G30 van chassis school bus (church bus) that has a module under the hood that I can't identify. Please reply if you know (please don't guess) what it is.
The engine is a 5.7L (vin K) TBI with an automatic transmission.
The module is located on the radiator support, just left (driver's side) of the radiator and has one cable going to the accelerator pedal and another cable going to the throttle body. (...it is not a cruise control)
The module has one wiring harness with a 7-position plug with three male pins and three female pins, as pictured below. It is currently unplugged and I cannot find the mate to the plug anywhere.
My first thought is that it is a governor/speed limiter that is common on buses, but I cannot find any info to confirm.
