Hi, wondering if someone could help me. I've had my 83 el camino for about 6 months now, and the oil pressure gauge sits on 30 when idling in 'park' which is normal, and also sits at 30 when it idles in gear (which is also normal) and sits on around 60 when acceleration happens above 70km/h (which I understand is also normal). However, I took it out for a drive today, and when I was idling in gear it dropped to about 15-20. This hasn't happened previously. I noticed it also started to miss in timing a little bit when it got this low. Still idles at 30 when in 'park' and still hits 60 whilst driving at decent speed. Just a little worried why it would drop to 15-20 while idling in gear at a set of lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Well guages cant be trusted with that being said what weight of oil you have in it,what brand name oil filter you using.
