Howdy Guys......I'm a new member and hoping to learn about my wife's 2002 Impala LS.
first the instrument cluster lights went out so I just bought a new headlight switch to put in. A couple of days ago the overhead electronics went out too. Then yesterday they were working. Then later in the day they all went out again.
I bought a Haynes 1995-2005 Impala, Lumina , Monte Carlo repair manual and I can't find anything about the overhead instruments at all. Not even in the owners manual. That kind of sucks! I don't see any fuses marked for the overhead instruments either. The cluster fuse in the driver's side fuse panel us ok.
Have any if you ever experienced the problem I have? I'm on Social Security so taking it to an $80hr mechanic is out of the question. All my life I have done my own wrenching but have been weak on auto electric stuff.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
