Default P0108, P00C7 and MAP

Hi All,

I love my Chevy and I love the brand.
I am new here, I would like to ask for assistance regarding my Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 (https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-rev...lazer-lt-50876)

1. I experienced a "Check engine light" last Tuesday.
2. I purchased a Bluetooth based ODB2 to scan the car.
3. Below are the error codes

I would like to seek your guidance on how to clear this error messages.

or do I need to purchase a new MAP sensor?

Having said that, I have tried searching for a compatible MAP sensor for my Trailblazer 2017, but I am troubled (too many search results, mostly Trailblazer 2009).
Will you be able to provide the part number?

I am unsure if this is the correct MAP Sensor for my vehicle

I believe this is quite 'advance' in terms of being a mechanic.
(I have performed several change oils, change bulbs..etc).

turn the key to run, engine off....with your scan tool...view the map, intake air and baro sensors...they all should read the same or very close to each other and all should be close to the barometric pressure of your regions pressure. if one is skewed....the problem is with that sensor, wiring or ecm.

Hi tech2, Thanks for the respond.

Hi @all
I actually performed the following for my Trailblazer.

1. Change Air Filter
2. Clean MAF with maf cleaner.

3. Remove Engine cover
4. Look for the MAP
5. Did a visual inspection as advise...

And saw the following attached picture
I was wondering if doing this is safe... ?
Lastly, due to tight space in the engine chassis, do you happen to know where the MAP cables lead to?

Thanks

not sure w hat that repair product is so can't comment on it.

Any wiring repair done outside the vehicle must be sealed or it will corrode. the proper fix is rosin core solder and then wrapped in heat shrink tube. another acceptable method of repair would be a heat shrink butt connector.
the map sensor wires r un to the pcm.
