I have a problem with the cd player in my 2001 Chevy Malibu. The "CHECK CD" keeps coming on and it never stops poppin up. There is a constant sound as if a cd is ejecting itself over and over again. It does this evenwhen the car is off and the key isout ofthe ignition.I know that eventually this will run the battery dead. Please help me!

 

you need a new radio....pull the radio fuse to prevent to battery from going dead untill you fix the problem

 

Yep your cd player is bad my buddy with a 05 duramax has gone threw two of them thanks to gm and there crappy players if i was you i would get a pioneer and junk that stock unit.

 

probably junk try to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and maybe it will reset itself if it is only stuck
