Possible 4l60e valve body issue
*Note, I tried to delete previous post in other area that received no responses, can't find a delete post button.
I pulled my transmission to replace seals then decided to install a 4L60E Transmission 96-06 P1870 Code Correction Update Kit W/ TransGo SK4L60E and new shift solenoids, I also replaced the fluid pump seals. Now my truck will only move in reverse, manually to 1st and manually to 2nd. Nothing when manually put in 3rd or Drive, in Drive it will barely inch forward when I rev it up over 2500 rpm. Also it used to shift fine into reverse now it has a hard clunky shift when going into reverse. I drove it around the neighborhood to see if it would set a code but the CEL didn't come on. Note, I didn't have any transmission issues prior to this other than a hard 1-2 shift, I also put in a kit to correct that too.
Where should I start in diagnosing it?
Would it act this way if I inadvertently put the separator plate paper gaskets on wrong?
Thanks for any help.
Update: It will drive in 3rd gear when I remove the transmission fuse. I'm pretty sure it's something simple I did in the valve body.
