On my 2000 blazer on some radio stations there is this tick that co-incides with the rpm of the engine. i think it has something to do with the power output of the alternator. but im not sure where to go from there. it does not do it while playing cd's nor on every single radio station every time.

The sound your hearing is RFI noise , could be from poor plug wires.
