Default Removing old window vent tape

Any suggestions on the easiest/bestest way to remove the old tape from window vents i removed ? isopropyl? paint thinner? WD40? This stuff wasn't meant to come off

any help will be appreciate.

isopropyl is safe.
a plastic scraper and some elbow grease.
a hair dryer to soften it up

thanks , running out of elbow grease , stuff is definately meant to last, isopropyl helped. If the old ones hadn't been cracked and brittle, i woulda left them, I'll probably get another set.
