Default Replace planetary gear. ABS and brake light on

Hello. I just bought a used 2004 chevy express 2500(100,000miles).
there is whinging noise heard on acceleration from a stop.
So I went to a chevy dealer to diagnose, and they said that I need a new drive shaft, and it cost more than $1000.
And they listed the list that I need to do, and the total cost was more than $2000.
REALLY?

So I searched transmission specialist, and I found two specialists.
One mechanic said that the dealer is liar, and I need to change only engine oil and mission oil, and flush transmission.
He didn't drive it, but only used a flash light to see the inside of van.
So I thought he is the real specialist of the transmission. However I asked to the mechanic to test drive after chaining oils, and flusing.
And while driving, he heard the whinging noise, and he said there is a problem on the van.
After lifting van up, he inspect more detail.
He said it is related with transmission, not with drive shaft. He said drive shaft is good.
and he ask me more time to inspect to know the cost to fix.
I said that I'll, and

I went to another mechanic to double check. This time, this mechanic want to drive in the first place. And after driving, he said that planetary gear in the transmission wear and tear, and he lifted up the van and open the mission cover to show me the evidence.
When they doing it, I said that I just flushed the transmission.
He said that because I flushed the transmission, there was no metal scrap....
Anyway he said that repairing transmission is $1800.
He really looks like a expert of transmission.

*******Question1) Is that a fair price?

I said to him that I need a time to think about it, and I was driving out of the mechanic shop.
And at the moment, ABS light and brake light came on, and I felt my van is more heavier,
It was like that I was driving when parking brake on.
However it was already over 6pm, and they closing door.
I was hurry to asked to check, and they got a rear speed sensor related code.
and they just clear the code without doing anything about speed sensor.
And I drove again to go home, but the lights turned one immediately.
So I left my van there.

***********Qestion2) What is the reason of getting the lights on? Is the speed sensor the real problem?? However
I didn't anything, and I believe that they also didn't do anything on the speed sensor.
They just lifted up and down. And the lights came up...
And I felt my van is more heavier.. Can faulty speed sensor also make the symptom? Morever, the chevy dealer also didn't mention about the sensor at all.
I'm not sure if they did hand brake, and I drove it without releasing it. However, If assuming I did, driving was less than 10 second. Is driving van with parking brake on
can be the reason of the lights on??

I'll look forward to hear from you guys. Thank you very much to read the long story.
